End of the year.

I will miss this class and I can't wait to come back and intern for globaloria next year.

Help Desk

The helpdesk has been really useful for making our game :D It is my favorite thing about Globaloria.

Our game is finally coming along. I am proud of myself. DAvid(my partner) is slacking tho. But thats not a surprise.

The Game

My team has been distracted lately. The constant need to update everything on our wiki and such has made us not really want to work. Hopefully getting back on task soon

The schools internet has been down D: And I have already had my paper prototype done so I didnt really do anything sadly :/ plus my partner just got out of surgery.

Choosing A Topic

My team already had an idea for our game so the choosing a topic assignment did not really help us.

Was in class last block and was really bored... So i wrote some lyrics.

So I stay the course ofcourse I've got some slight remorse
That life feels like something forced and chores

A secluded town, a secluded state, known by few, forgotten by many. This is the story people in my town hear everyday. No one really knows anything about Beckley or much about West Virginia in general. To change that it is up to the people to put us on the map, move away from our past and the things that have worked but are slowly fading into the shadows of the abyss and be innovators. We must discover new things, build new places, and make a difference. I can't really say if making a video game could change the world. I do know that they can change an individuals world by being a place to escape. It doesnt have to be educational, or contain a life lesson. It just has to be fun so that you can forget your troubles and immerse in something you couldn't even imagine before.

So this really doesn't have anything to do with my game, but I crashed my car into a house....almost died....kinda upset about it :( lol

Getting Started..

So a few weeks back I thought of an interesting game idea for our class. Our game has to be educational and looking at past Globaloria games they were all kind of....to be honest lame. So I found a way to make a game that is exciting and educational at the same time. I am supposed to be working with David Tobias to make this game, but he is being difficult so I predict I will mostly be making it myslef :/

On a lighter note we decided on a team name :D We shall call ourselves.....

Space Monkey Mafia :)

This game will be a turn based strategy game (to give a hint) I for one and am really excited to make it hopefully my partner gets himself together or else I will have to whip him into shape :P

Assignment I have to do for Digital Imaging Two.
